early childhood education center of excellence

At West Side Ecumenical Ministry, we believe that every child is a unique, special, talented, and capable individual. The Center of Excellence and its highly trained and caring teachers and support staff work in partnership with families of children ages 0-5 to help each child develop school readiness skills, encourage a love of learning, and grow toward his or her physical, emotional, social and intellectual potential in a bi-lingual setting.

At WSEM we know that children develop and learn best when they are valued for who they are, and given both the guidance and freedom to explore the world through hands-on, child-initiated learning experiences. Nurturing professionals, using proven, research-based strategies, encourage children to pursue their own interests and strengths by nurturing their natural curiosity and wonder within safe, homelike settings.
