What is El Barrio?
El Barrio is a Program of the West Side Ecumenical Ministry that seeks to bridge the language, culture, and service gaps that separate Hispanics from other people, agencies, and services. In order to do so, we have developed a three-step empowerment process to enable our clients to attain self reliance: education and job skills, job placement and retention, and community integration/crisis intervention. - El Barrio
